THEY
HEAR
ME.

Bandiwhilila is an evolving archive of thought, practice and memory.

It is concerned with the ways place is produced, remembered and inhabited, and with the cultural knowledge embedded within those processes.

Emerging from architecture and extending into heritage, writing and research, Bandiwhilila creates space for African spatial thought, cultural memory and forms of knowledge that have often been excluded from dominant narratives.
